Help Danny Fight Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved Danny, who has been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer in one organ and a tumor in another. Born in 1992, Danny has always been a light in our lives—kind, full of life, and always ready to lift others up.

As his older sisters, we remember so clearly when he was born—our sweet baby brother who was always smiling. Even as a child, Danny had the kindest and most sensitive heart. He would become emotional whenever a sad song played, showing just how deeply he felt things. He has always had a gentle, caring soul, someone who truly feels for others and spreads kindness wherever he goes.

Danny has always been guided by his deep sense of fairness and compassion. From a young age, he was never afraid to stand up for what was right and protect those who needed a voice. Whether it was defending a friend or helping a stranger, he always carried himself with patience, love, and integrity. That same kindness led him to faithfully serve an LDS mission, devoting his time to helping others and sharing his faith. And no matter what, he has always been there for our mom—caring for her with the same selflessness that defines who he is.

Our mom, our rock, has already endured the heartbreaking loss of our little sister, Glendita, when she was a baby. Now, facing Danny’s diagnosis, she is struggling deeply as she watches her baby go through this unimaginable battle. The pain of losing Glendita still lingers, and now this new hardship has compounded the sorrow in our family.

This diagnosis has been incredibly difficult for our family, but Danny is a fighter. He is facing an uphill battle, and while he remains strong in spirit, the physical pain is too much for him to work at the moment. And the medical costs, treatments, and daily expenses are overwhelming.

We are asking for donations to help cover:

Con gran pesar, les pedimos su apoyo para nuestro querido Danny, a quien le han diagnosticado cáncer en un órgano y tumor en otro. Nacido en 1992, Danny siempre ha sido una luz en nuestras vidas: amable, lleno de vida y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás.

Como sus hermanas mayores, recordamos claramente su nacimiento: nuestro dulce hermanito que siempre sonreía. Incluso cuando era niño, Danny tenía el corazón más amable y sensible. Se emocionaba cada vez que sonaba una canción triste, lo que demostraba lo profundamente que sentía las cosas. Siempre ha tenido un alma gentil y afectuosa, alguien que realmente siente por los demás y difunde amabilidad dondequiera que va.

Danny siempre se ha guiado por su profundo sentido de la justicia y la compasión. Desde muy joven, nunca tuvo miedo de defender lo que era correcto y proteger a quienes necesitaban una voz. Ya fuera defendiendo a un amigo o ayudando a un extraño, siempre se comportó con paciencia, amor e integridad. Esa misma bondad lo llevó a servir fielmente en una misión para la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, dedicando su tiempo a ayudar a los demás y a compartir su fe. Y, pase lo que pase, siempre ha estado ahí para nuestra madre, cuidándola con el mismo altruismo que define quién es él.

Nuestra madre, nuestro pilar, ya ha soportado la desgarradora pérdida de nuestra hermana pequeña, Glendita, cuando era un bebé. Ahora, al enfrentarse al diagnóstico de Danny, está sufriendo profundamente al ver a su bebé pasar por esta batalla inimaginable. El dolor de perder a Glendita todavía persiste, y ahora esta nueva dificultad ha agravado el dolor en nuestra familia.

Este diagnóstico ha sido increíblemente difícil para nuestra familia, pero Danny es un luchador. Se enfrenta a una batalla cuesta arriba y, aunque sigue siendo fuerte de espíritu, los costos médicos, los tratamientos y los gastos diarios son abrumadores porque no puede trabajar por el dolor físico que siente.
