On July 4th, Angie and Dylan had their world turn upside down. They spent the day with friends on the water and rode their jet ski back to the marina. While playing in some waves, they came down sideways on a wave and both of them were ejected. Dylan is okay, but Angie hit the ski and broke nearly every bone in her face including her forehead, both eye sockets, the roof of her mouth, her sinuses, nose, cheeks, and cracked her bottom teeth as well as tons of other small fractures throughout her face. She will need extensive reconstructive surgery and while the surgeons are very optimistic, we really won’t know until they get in there the extent of what it will take.
Angie has had a rough year, she lost her mom 4 months ago, very quickly to cancer, and Dylan was injured last year when he tore his tricep and had to have surgery of his own. Through everything she has been so optimistic, and strong. She is not the one to ever ask for help, so I’d like to ask for her.
With her upcoming surgery, she will be out of work for quite some time. She’s already taken time off when her mom fell ill. We all know disability isn’t what it should be so anything you can donate would be a huge help.
Angie is one of the most selfless, positive, caring and empathetic people I’ve ever known. It would mean everything to her, her husband and kids if you can help.
