Hi, My name is David, I need some help.

As of April 2nd I became a single father due to domestic violence. At the same time because of covid-19 I became unemployed as I was unable to obtain any daycare to cover my work schedule.

through the summer I was able to stay afloat through expanded unemployment. I saved enough that I have been able to carry on the past 2 months without the unemployment, however I have reached the bottom of my savings.

in June I was diagnosed with stage 1b melanoma. I underwent successful surgery at the beginning of July and went through 8 weeks of recovery.

with all the challenges that covid and cancer surgery has created in getting child care and finding a permanent job that is consistent with my daughters schedule, I have made the difficult decision that I need to relocate closer to family for more support.

i am considering both Oklahoma were I am originally from and Kansas were most of my extended family lives.

my goals are to create a more stabile living situation for my daughter which through her first five years she has not experienced.

i would appreciate any kind of help, as much as I would like to help myself the situation as it stands seems to be creating roadblocks in every way and I am looking for some options that we’ll alleviate these roadblocks.
