Brian is an 85 year old owner of North Denver Cares Food Pantry, which my family has volunteered at for over 10 years. We recently learned that this pantry is in danger of closing its doors because of rising costs.
Brian feeds over 400 families per week and takes 0 salary from his 70 hours + of working at the pantry.
"As long as I can supply food, that's what my calling is".
We cannot allow rising costs to close these pantry doors. Brian does too much good for the community that we have to help keep his doors open so that he can continue to feed 400 families.
Brian needs 30-40,000 in order to stay open for the 2024 year. I know it is alot of money, but I believe we can do it. 400 families are counting on Brian to feed their children this year.
