I created this GoFundMe on behalf of Shamek Boyd, the mother of Jessica Williams, who is now facing the heartbreaking responsibility of caring for Jessica’s two beautiful children. This sudden and tragic loss has left a deep void in their lives, and we’re coming together to support Shamek as she navigates this unimaginable time and steps in to provide for her grandchildren.

On what was meant to be a joyful birthday trip to New Orleans, our beloved Jessica Williams was tragically killed at just 33 years old.

Jessica was a devoted mother to her two beautiful children — a 7-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son — who are now left to face life without their loving mom. She was the heart of her family, full of laughter, kindness, and an unshakable love for her children.
