I was sexually assaulted (sodomized) after a surgery by a wealthy anesthesiologist at OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center, even though the surgery was gynecological and I wasn't supposed to have v*ginal s*x for 6 weeks.
I was failed by the criminal justice system. Because of the rape kit backlog, the swabs in my rape kit weren't tested for 7-8 months until the trace DNA on them were extremely degraded. Additionally, the police didn't properly execute a warrant for hospital surveillance video footage.
The hospital edited my medical record to conceal that I was alone with the doctor after surgery for over an hour, and the hospital is trying to prevent me from obtaining access to my electronic medical record audit trail record.
My offender hired a powerful sex defense attorney, and I was maliciously harassed by numerous men who worked for a private investigation firm.
I believe I owe it to the world to share my story and spread awareness that things like this are happening to victims. You are not alone.
If you would like to donate to me, you can do so on this GoFundMe account. The funds will go towards:
- helping me pay for my legal expenses, such as expert witness fees (fees for experts who can testify about things such as surveillance video footage and anesthesia)
- helping me spend about 45 hours a week on my case
- helping me continue to spend time learning about the legal and justice system and brainstorm practical ways we can improve it
- helping me spend time finishing my beautifully written memoir (it's about 100 pages so far)
What happened to me is so much bigger than myself. It's about a legal and justice system that is built to fail and silence vulnerable victims, protect institutional power, and shields the wealthy from accountability.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for your generosity.
