</div>
<div>I was sexually assaulted (sodomized) after a surgery by a wealthy anesthesiologist at OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center, even though the surgery was gynecological and I wasn't supposed to have v*ginal s*x for 6 weeks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was failed by the criminal justice system. Because of the rape kit backlog, the swabs in my rape kit weren't tested for 7-8 months until the trace DNA on them were extremely degraded. Additionally, the police didn't properly execute a warrant for hospital surveillance video footage.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hospital edited my medical record to conceal that I was alone with the doctor after surgery for over an hour, and the hospital is trying to prevent me from obtaining access to my electronic medical record audit trail record.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My offender hired a powerful sex defense attorney, and I was maliciously harassed by numerous men who worked for a private investigation firm.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I believe I owe it to the world to share my story and spread awareness that things like this are happening to victims. You are not alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you would like to donate to me, you can do so on this GoFundMe account. The funds will go towards:
</div>
<div>- helping me pay for my legal expenses, such as expert witness fees (fees for experts who can testify about things such as surveillance video footage and anesthesia)
</div>
<div>- helping me spend about 45 hours a week on my case
</div>
<div>- helping me continue to spend time learning about the legal and justice system and brainstorm practical ways we can improve it
</div>
<div>- helping me spend time finishing my beautifully written memoir (it's about 100 pages so far)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What happened to me is so much bigger than myself. It's about a legal and justice system that is built to fail and silence vulnerable victims, protect institutional power, and shields the wealthy from accountability.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for your generosity.
