WIth a final decision on the Keystone XL pipeline looming, the fight against fossil fuel infrastructure is heating up, and spreading across North America. And we're going to the front lines to cover it.
We're currently on the road, on the way to the Athabasca Tar Sands in Alberta, Canada and then down the route of the Keystone XL pipeline in Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas in order to document the boom, in both extraction and resistance, of fossil fuels in North America.
We're interviewing people along the way, collecting the stories of the people on the front lines and shining a light on all the small local struggles that are part of this new phase in the environmental movement.
We've been on the road for a little over two weeks, spending our own money to pay for our equipment, publishing, and travel expenses. And we need your help!
