Always a Daddy’s Girl

My name is Kate Jones. My Dad lives in Scotland and I am in need of help to get over to him and stay to assist with his care. My Dad was in hospital two weeks ago. He has suffered an acute injury to his kidneys; weakness in his legs; exhaustion which has caused mobility issues & the inability to care for himself as he once did. He landed back in the hospital Friday evening. The doctors are still working through things but his recovery will take sometime estimated currently through December 4.

Working remotely is not an option for me, so we will have a temporary loss in income as I only have leave to cover benefits for 4 weeks.

Funds received will support my travel to include my plane ticket ; an air b&b or hotel nearby place to my Dad to his house as he only has 1 room; possibly will need to rent a car (yikes); food and meals; groceries for dad and I, and any other bills that are not covered by medical for him(assisted living; house cleaner; support for income loss for myself and husband. Any amount that you can spare would be amazing, but understand it’s a difficult time for many. Thank you for all your kindness.
