Mike’s mom

Dear friends,
Today I spoke to Mike on the phone only to hear the sad news that his mother is seriously ill in Kenya. She was diagnosed with diabetes much too late, as a result of which one of her feet had to be amputated. That in itself is awful enough, however the wound is not healing properly and special medical care is required.
His mother has no insurance to cover the expenses she is incurring. Mike has exhausted his savings to pay for three different operations his mother has had to undergo so far. With no money left to pay for her continued medical treatment his mother’s life is at stake.
Please help us raise a sum of eur 5000 to see Mike’s mother through these difficult times and perhaps enable him to go and visit her once the ban on flying is over.
