Legal fees for custody

My dear friends and family, I hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today, as I find myself in a difficult situation. I have been fighting hard to keep my daughter here in San Diego, and I am doing my best to avoid spending money in family court. However, due to the heartless tactics of the counsel of the other side, I find myself in a position where unless I hire some legal counsel of my own, my daughter will be removed from the state and my time with her will be severely affected. I know nothing is a guarantee, but I feel if I don't do everything in my power to keep her here, the regret will be something I carry for my lifetime.
