Volunteering with Children in Ghana
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Yihun Mazor, an 18-year-old student at Michigan State University. Two summers ago, I volunteered with African children facing medical challenges in Israel, and it was a deeply meaningful experience. Now, I'm heading to Accra, the capital of Ghana, to volunteer in kindergartens and early childhood centers in less privileged areas.
As someone born in Ethiopia, I believe it's crucial for me to go back and support those who are struggling. We should appreciate the fact that we wake up to clean resources and a healthy environment, as not everyone is as fortunate. It's essential to recognize our privilege and use it to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
I'm covering my travel expenses, but I'm reaching out for support to buy essential items like clothes, books, first aid supplies, and school materials to donate to the children I will work with. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Your help will contribute to making a positive difference in these communities.
Thank you for your generosity!
