Help My Family in Muçum Rise from the Devastation
Donation protected
Dear Supporters,
I'm Ana Tramontina, and I'm reaching out for your generosity to support my family in Brazil as they embark on the arduous journey of rebuilding their lives after a catastrophic flooding event, the most severe cyclone disaster in the town's history. The cyclone's wrath has left Muçum in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in shambles.
Today, our hearts are weighed down by the profound loss. The scale of this disaster is shocking: 80% of the houses were affected. Homes, cars, and, tragically, dear loved ones, have been taken away.
Countless families are struggling with the unimaginable reality of having nothing left. This town holds special significance for us, as it is where my mother grew up and my family lives.
We really need your help right now. Our family lost everything in the flooding: their whole house was swallowed by the river, which damaged everything inside of it. It will take a long time for the city to rebuilt and people's lives to get back to normal. The money you give will be used to buy basic necessity items like food and water, and items to help rebuild their home: from construction material to household items like mattresses, appliances and furniture. They need everything from the very basics to make a house feel like a home.
Every single donation, no matter the size, will go directly to to my family.
Your kindness and compassion can make a world of difference to them. Your support means the world to us. Thank you so much!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ana Tramontina
