Hi all! For those who may not know, I am approaching the close of my first year of Physician Assistant (PA) school. After the school year wraps up, on Aug 16th, members of my class and faculty will be traveling to Zacapa, Guatemala for a medical mission trip! Our 8 day trip via the Hearts in Motion organization allows us to provide medical care, medications, water filters, menstrual supplies, books and more to rural communities living in poverty. For many of the individuals we will see, our care often serves as the only medical treatment they are able to receive.

I am fundraising to cover the personal cost of travel and lodging necessary to participate in this service work. It has been a long-term dream of mine to touch the lives of those outside of the arms of Western medicine, as these are often people who need help the most.
