Hi, my name is Emily and I have a dear friend who is essentially being financially abused by her ex. She's a single mother and he is emotionally manipulating her into signing documents that give him control of all their (yes they are in her name too) assets, hiding his income and not offering any spousal support.

I'm looking to raise funds to support her so she can afford a lawyer to look at the situation and talk with her. At this time with her income it is not possible, while he is getting lawyers to draft up paperwork for her to sign that are in his favor. He is threatening to make life very hard for her and their child if she does not comply.
