‘Ryan’s Place’

Tax deductible
On May 3, 2022, Ryan Whitlock lost his life after a long battle with drug addiction. Our family and friends are devastated by his passing but want to use this tragedy as an opportunity to help others in need. With the incredible efforts of The Building on the Rock Community Church, we are trying to raise money to provide safe housing for members of our community that are struggling with similar issues of drug addiction and mental illness as they get the help they need.

This money would go directly to the start-up costs of securing a house and the costs of managing the property as we work toward a long-term housing solution for the church community.

Whether or not you decide to donate, we would like to thank everyone who attended Ryan’s service and for all the love and support during this extremely difficult time. Thank you to Pastor Joe Serratelli and the entire BOTR community for creating this special project in memory of Ryan.

We hope that "Ryan's Place" will change the trajectory of those in need, even if that means saving just one life so families don’t have to endure the pain that we are feeling. For those interested in getting involved in any way or for questions, please feel free to reach out to Kyle Whitlock, the gofundme organizer. We look forward to seeing this project come to life and cannot thank you all enough for helping us honor Ryan and for making a positive impact on this world ❤️
