RSOs at UWT Homeless Community Fundraiser

Peace be with you all! We, the registered student organizations of UW Tacoma; Muslim Student Association, Black Student Union, Somalian Student Association and the Black Men's Group have come together to give back to our community. We want to provide and distribute lunches and care packages for the homeless.  A 2019 report showed that nearly 1,500 people suffer from housing insufficiency within Pierce County, most of which have chronic illnesses, are veterans or are victims of domestic abuse. This time is a difficult one and it is our duty to provide basic needs  for this community, however this would not be possible without YOUR contributions. All the money collected will go directly towards creating the lunches and the care packages. Help us provide a warm, full-bellied winter for those less fortunate!

Items Included in the Care Package are:

-  Clothing Bundle: Socks, Gloves, Beanies

-   Hygiene Kits: Shampoo, Conditioner, Soaps, Razors, Deodorant, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Feminine Products.

Lunch Bag:

 Bottled Water, Granola Bar, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches, Apples
