Hi! My name is Cooper. I'm 3years old and recently I was not feeling well. On July 8th my mommy (Mary) and daddy (Chance) rushed me to the doctors. My sugar (glucose) was almost 600. I was immediately taken to VCU Pediatric Hospital in Richmond, VA. I was admitted and they began lots of tests. My sugar was now 511 and slowly they helped get it down. After all the testing we found out I am Type 1 diabetic (T1D). My mommy and daddy have had to take off work to take care of me. They are learning how to check my sugar and how to administered my insulin and the dosage. They have to take me back several times the next few months for check ups. I'm asking if anyone could help my mommy and daddy. This would help them with monthly bills, gas, phone cards, special needs for my care.
