Hi everyone! It's Caprice, regretting to inform you all, especially in this way, that my mom, Angie, is diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. It is known that there are spots on her lungs also. More testing and a closer examination will determine that outcome. I will keep everyone updated on here or Facebook.

She did have life-altering surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago that has left her with a colostomy bag for the next 6+ months. She's having to go to the wound clinic for treatment also because the incisions aren't healing correctly. Through all this, she remains employed, thankfully, but still unable to work. She's only been at her current job for 9 or 10 months, so is unable to get a paid leave. And then there will be the challenges of chemotherapy.

The goal is to help her keep her employer-offered health insurance, and to help her navigate this journey a little bit easier in some way. Monetary donations, thoughts, prayers, and ideas for other fundraisers are all welcomed. Thank you so much, everyone, for the support!!
