Mikayla's 2015-16 Dance Fundraiser!

This is Mikayla's Year to Shine!!!
Over the years you may have seen pictures and posts about my 13 year old daughter's dancing events and performances. She, Mikayla, has been dancing at Dancemakers, Inc. for 8 years and competing for 6 years. My baby breathes dance and dreams about dance, but unfortunately, with all that I have been through recently, such as a near fatal car accident (can't disclose any detail due to the case still being open), decrease in income, etc., I'm not sure I'll be able to allow my baby's dancing career to continue much longer.
Since the last time we did this kind of fundraiser, Mikayla has blossomed into a more graceful and eloquent dancer. She has taken special dance workshops and classes to further help her to fine tune her dance technique. She has taken ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. And she wouldn't have been able to do it without your your help and prayers almost 2 years ago.
This season "Mickey" has been invited to dance 2 solos, to showcase her skills and talents, as a teenage dancer, as well as to continue performing with the Dancemakers All-Star Competitive Dance Troupe. The Competitive Troupe travels to different competitions, along the East Coast, each season to show off their amazing dance technique, choreography, and costumes. Mikayla and her dance sisters bring home many first place trophies and other special awards, as well as get special invites to perform at various events. They are an amazing group of health-conscious, disciplined, talented young ladies. They definitely make me proud.
