Kilimanjaro Direct

Hi everyone, we are travelling to Tanzania, Africa, this July to volunteer in the local school and community. Kilimanjaro Direct (KD) is a charity that has built 10 houses and a primary school in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. KD was founded in 2005 by Sheila Ryan, a retired music teacher from our former secondary school, as a response to the poverty she witnessed during a holiday to the area. Our aim is to raise €2,000. All expenses have been paid for by ourselves, 100% of donations will go directly to the school for much needed resources. The money raised will also provide local families with food and water.
