Costa Rica Mission Trip 2023

Dear Family and Friends,

I am so excited to share with you a special opportunity to partner with me in making a difference in another part of the world. In just a couple of short months April 16th - April 22nd, 2023, I will be going on a short-term mission trip to San Jose, Costa Rica with a team from CedarCreek Church. We will be partnering with a local church to assist with different programs that are made to meet the practical needs of this community. We will be engaging in a number of programs including an initiative to serve women who want to leave the sex trade (the "Casa Mint" program), an initiative to assist Nicaraguan immigrants in San Jose as they develop job skills and other life skills, and helping new or aspiring business owners learn to start or grow businesses (the "Entrepe" program). We get to be part of work that is truly changing the community for the better! I am looking forward to this trip not only for the impact we will be making in their community but also for the knowledge and vision this trip will give me to bring back home! I am 23 years old and cannot wait to see the true purpose that God has for me, and I believe by going on this trip, God will open up new doors and horizons I have never fathomed.

I am inviting you to make an impact along me in two ways. First and foremost, I ask for prayers for our team to help us continue to follow the steps God provides for us, and center our hearts on honoring him in the process. This is so vital both before the trip and while we are on the ground. Second, would you consider supporting me financially? The total cost of the trip is $2,500 and I need to raise all of it before the trip. Donations of any size are helpful and will cover the trip costs, along with projects we engage in while we are in Costa Rica.
