Food for the Front

Our idea started with my wife Carlee who is trauma nurse in the ER at Providence Holy Cross in Mission Hills.  She is always telling me stories, some truly heart breaking especially right now with the pandemic.  We thought it would be a nice gesture to say thank you to all the ER staff for their courage, selflessness and love that they give to others by feeding them some delicious BBQ.  We want to feed the entire staff morning and evening shift. I started looking for a BBQ place near Mission Hills and came across Dr. Hogly Wogly's BBQ.  They were immediately on board to be apart of this and offered to give a 50% discount for all food going to the cause .  So far with the help of our awesome friends and family, and by word of mouth we have raised $1700.   With that we are able to feed 2 shifts at the ER and 4 fire stations.  We are so excited and we want to keep this going even after this all ends to show how much people appreciate what they all do for us.  With this goal we can feed 5 ER's, 2 shifts(both morning and night)  and 20 fire stations.  If you have  fire stations or ER's you would like us to focus on please let us know and we will do our best to make that happen.  Thank you for your support and always remember to thank all the brave front line workers that put themselves before all others.  God bless and stay safe.
