RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

Hello people so I am a volunteer to a group called RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS search it on fb its a page you can like and share it was created by a woman called Dana Milligan she is one of a kind and loves to help the community along with all the volunteers she had acquired along the way me being just one of them along with over 15 others she has been running this group and doing events called pop ups this entails going out and collecting donations from the locals public toys,clothing ,household items even furniture she holds event days, hires halls,and relys simply on donations to cover costs of hiring hall , the van fuel,insurance,tax to collect items from local people and put all her time and effort in with volunteers, it can sometimes take upto 10 hours to set up a event over 2 days that local people can come and take as many items/clothing school uniforms as they want purley for a donation could be £2 upto anything people can afford ....this was running quite good up until now so the bad bit ...

With the ever growing cost of living we are facing at the moment it's giving people the option to not have to choose between clothing and food with our group it's all donation based which is whatever you can afford at the time in need ...

Dana kept her donations in a room in a COMMUNITY HALL LOCAL TO HER HOME EASY ACCESSIBLE but now it has come the time where the room is no longer available to use as storage which is all fine but havent been given any other option as a group to a quick fix to securing our storage elsewhere, but now that leaves us stuck for somewhere to store all donations securley that we put back into the community we have seeked council help but they're have not yet responded to our ask for help before our due date to remove all donations from our former storage which is on the 19th Sept 22 and I wanted to see if the public could help with maybe storage fees or renting somewhere permanently to get us on our feet .

We now have had yet another set back our van has failed its MOT and its going to cost to much to fix so we will now need to try and raise funds to source another van for collecting and delivering our donations and to continue to hold our pop up events

We would appreciate anything that could help us as we want to continue to stop land fill growth and keep helping families and local people and anyone who could use our help but the future isn't looking so bright at the moment thats why we are reaching out for help!
