As many of you know, my life and the lives of my four boys were turned upside down on the night of Friday, September 26. Their father was at the wrong place at the wrong time. To protect my children, I won’t share details here, but I will say the story in the media does not reflect the full truth.

Today, I am reaching out in one of the most vulnerable moments of my life to ask for help. I need support to keep my kids stable and secure as we adjust and I search for steady employment.
