The Western DuPage Chamber and West Chicago Community Center have joined forces to support our local Front-line workers. Nurses, Doctors, Hospital Support Staff, Fire Dept and Police and Caregivers of all kinds assisting during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The primary service area is Warrenville, Winfield and West Chicago for first responders (Fire & Police).
100% of funds raised will be used to purchase meals, groceries and gift cards from local restaurants, caterers and grocery stores. Meals will be delivered to Care facilities, hospitals and first- responder facilities while following CDC guidelines when practical and gift cards for evening shifts or those unable to schedule mealtime.
If called on to assist in purchasing Personal Protection Equipment (masks, gloves ETC) and if funds are available, funds raised may also support these gifts.
Neither the Chamber or the Community Center will benefit financially however; all of us here and those supporting this program should rest happy knowing you have made a difference in the life of the many people on the front-lines taking personal risk to care for our communities.
