Hi my name is Freya and i am fundraising for our family I have never wanted to do this but friends and family have pushed saying we should. If you know us you know our story but here is the short of it. Life was good and then an accident happened a head injury for my husband back at the end of 2022. Since then life has been hard. Becoming someone’s carer young and with a young family. Unfortunately we experienced people take advantage of blakes memory issues and our trust. We are also a blended family and that in itself has its struggles but at the end our time together is precious. My health took a huge turn since 2023 and I’m currently battling a multitude of issues and treating a looking at more surgeries whilst caring for our family. No matter how bad my health gets my caretakers a backseat a lot anyone who is a carer knows this. Brain injuries and ndis and support everyone knows how bad this system is we are yet to get the proper support but we have been grateful for the little assistance we have been given. This was suggested to me as a way people could give back to us. We are the first to help others and we have helped others so much and never asked for help. Despite my health I’m studying nursing always looking to a better future for us. Anything helps and it will be put toward our family any medical costs we can’t afford or time with our kids. We appreciate everyone who has supported us and helped us in any way.
