My parent’s home was reduced to ashes late Christmas Eve. They were uninsured and will need to begin again after 44 years of marriage. One of the most moving quotes my mom shared with me as we sat on Main Street in White Cloud while their home burned was, “I’m not sad about all the things I lost, I am sad about all the things I wanted to give away.” That is my mother. Always giving, always loving, and eager to help others. All funds will be used to rebuild their lives. They literally only have the clothes on their back. We are grateful for God’s protection over their lives and are grateful for the many prayers and love.
