Hi, my name is Angelina, and I’m organizing this fundraiser with the help of my Aunt Christine on behalf of my mom, Desiree, who is going through one of the most challenging times of her life.

She recently escaped an abusive relationship that involved domestic violence. Leaving was a brave and necessary step, but it has brought on overwhelming challenges, stress, and hardship. She was terminated from her job while on leave after giving birth to my brother, making her a stay-at-home mom without any income, leaving my stepdad as the sole provider for our family. Since my stepdad has been gone, he has not provided any support; he did not assist in securing a home, nor has he offered any financial assistance to cover food or basic necessities.

All donations will be directed toward securing stable housing for our family, as well as covering essential necessities such as food, transportation, and other basic needs. Nothing will be used beyond what is required to provide stability for our family. We have exhausted every available option, including applying for government programs and assistance, but have been unable to secure the resources we urgently need.

With nowhere else to turn, this fundraiser has become our last hope. She is an incredibly strong mother of four, a 1-year-old son, a 3-year-old, a 16-year-old, and an 18-year-old daughters. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to fight every day to give her kids a safe, stable, and loving future.
