Hi everyone,

I’m sure by now you all know that Valerie and Mike Goodwin’s daughter,  Olivia, has been in the hospital since right after thanksgiving for seizures. This has caused some other medical issues that they are desperately trying to get ahold of. Valerie and Mike have been spending days and nights in the hospital, spending time away from Amelia and Emma, barely sleeping, and missing work. It’s so heartbreaking to watch. Yet they amaze us with how strong they are, how positive they stay, and how they never utter a complaint.

We are all hoping and praying that Olivia can get better and be home for Christmas. A lot of people are reaching out and asking what they can do to help them. I think we all feel helpless, because other than praying, there isn’t much anyone can do to help. So I thought of an idea, which obviously the Goodwins don’t know about...If anyone is looking for a charitable cause for the holidays, please consider making a small donation here to a cause that is personal to us all. My intentions are to use the money we all collect to help the Goodwins cover the cost of this lengthy hospital stay and maybe give Olivia a very special gift for Christmas. 

Please pass this along to anyone you think would be interested in participating. If we can keep this a secret until Christmas, I will share this with Valerie and Mike on Christmas Eve. No one deserves this more than them.
