My name is Bobby Mellon. I will be swimming for each day of October as a fundraiser for the Mellon educate building blitz on the 17th- 21st of November this year. This will be my third year on this trip and every euro donated will help a child to read, write and gain access to an education. Mellon educate has already extended educational access and standards of education for over 65,000 primary school children aged between 4 and 12 in Kenya & South Africa. Thanks to the enormous collective effort of Mellon educate volunteers, in conjunction with the South African government, they have built houses for 250,000 homeless people in South Africa’s poorest townships.
