Family and friends, it is with great sadness that our family announces the most beautiful soul on this earth left us today; Megan Sue Orr. Megan was incredibly strong and brave throughout her journey. Megan passed away peacefully this morning, January 5, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Megan had a passion for helping others and was known for bringing people together. She had a brilliant smile that could light up a room, a kind loving spirit, and an infectious laugh. Megan held the love and trust of many and was a confidant to all.
We have been deeply touched and amazed by the amount of people who love and care about Megan. We know Megan was a part of many families, and we are honored to have shared that with you.
We want to celebrate Megan’s life to the fullest extent with all of her friends and family. During this time, we will wait until we can all come together as one; just how Megan would want it. As soon as we can honor Megan’s wishes and everyone involved in her life, we will celebrate.
As you have been on this journey with us, many of you have reached out to ask if you can help. We have established a Go Fund Me for Megan's 7-year old son, Liam Stappart, as he navigates his future without his mother. The funds raised here will be put in a custodial account for Liam by his Aunt Sarah Orr, Megan's sister.
Our family thanks you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, support, well wishes, and prayers. Megan has been a light in all of our lives, and the world will never be the same.
