Hello! Thanks for being here and taking the time to read and support Amber & Derek. Amber and Derek have been diligently working hard to prepare their new home they recently purchased to move in. Their move in date was this past weekend. Friday night they came home to their apartment late at night, around 12am to a complete disaster. Their apartment was FLOODED…inches of water. They had worked hard to get everything boxed up and ready to move in the morning. A lot of their belongings were on the floor. They later found out this was contaminated water and they have lost everything. They were able to salvage their mattress and some kitchen items. Everything else was lost. The insurance company told them they are not covered at all for sewage back up. As you can imagine, it’s been a very emotional few days. They have lost very sentimental items they can’t get back. At a time they had been looking forward to, moving into their first home together, they’ve been left with virtually no furniture.
