Single Mom Needing Help.

Hello, my name is Gabriela Falcon, I am a single mom of three beautiful, funny, and wonderful kids ( ages 13, 11, and 4. ) and the older sister to my amazing 18-year-old brother.  Creating this gofund me was a difficult decision for me because I have always been independent and I do not like asking for help. However, I have to put my pride to the side for my brother and my children and ask for financial assistance because we are in a bind and way over our heads. 

The month of August was extremely difficult. Myself, and my children all contracted Covid-19. We have been unable to work due to dealing with the virus and we were already struggling due to unexpectedly becoming a single mother after a 5-year relationship ending and having to be the main source of income for my household. If that wasn’t enough, in the midst of everything I was diagnosed with Small Lymphocytic leukemia (SLL). 

Just as I thought we were all recovering, my stepfather passed away in August. We lost my mother 2 years ago and now my brother is without either of his parents.

Our mother and his father, unfortunately, did not have a living will and we will need to hire a probate attorney to help settle their estate. The money we are requesting will help us pay the attorney, allow us to catch up on bills for both households, and fix the electrical issues in my mom and stepfather's home allowing us to install a running AC, which he hasn’t had in over 10 years.  They sheltered my brother his whole life so it is my responsibility to take him under my wing to show him how to drive as well as to comfort him. 

In addition to catching Covid, my family and I have endured so many hardships over the past 6 months.  From difficulties in school, unexpected medical bills and health problems,  to a severe decrease in my photography business and not being able to work my part time job, 2021 has been extremely trying and we are having a  difficult time to trying catch up. I need help. Anything including $1 would help me and my family greatly. We just want to be able to get back on our feet. I am forever grateful. Thank you for giving me your time.
