Ohana means family

Kaisha and Damian’s apartment complex caught fire last week and 4 apartments were ruined, including theirs, by the fire, the smoke and the water that was sprayed to get the fire out. Kaisha and Damian have been staying in Stephan’s room at his men’s sober living with their dog and Kaisha’s 2 cats. All of their stuff, including most of their clothes, have been ruined. They just got approved for an apartment and are moving in by the end of the week but they need help with clothes, groceries and items for their new place.

Kaisha and Damian have renters insurance but have no idea when it’s going to kick in. They’re trying to be strong and don’t want to ask for help, but I know how strong our community is and how much love we have within our friend group. Let’s show them what it means to be loved and supported when times are tough. Never alone, never again.
