Subject: Continued Urgent Assistance
Needed for Mrs. Nené Souwanu's Family After Auto Accident.
Dear Friends and Community,
Thank you to the many who have already donated. We still have a ways to go and are hopeful that with your generosity, we will cross the finish line.
I am reaching out on behalf of Mrs. Nené Souwanu, a devoted mother facing unexpected financial hardship due to a recent accident (September).
Nené, while driving her son to a crucial doctor's appointment, had a terrifying encounter when a school bus (inadvertently, and there are no yellow lines on this section of road) crossed into her lane. In a split-second decision to avoid a potential collision, she swerved her Toyota sedan off the road, inadvertently causing damage to my neighbor’s large fence and high-end landscaping.
I heard a loud crash from inside my house and ran to help.
Following the accident, they managed to cover the $1800.00 mechanic bill to repair the vehicle, which is essential for transporting both children to and from school—particularly as the school bus does not service their neighborhood.
For a month, I was blessed to be able to help Nené by ensuring the safe transportation of her kids home from school in the afternoons, alleviating some of the strain caused by this unforeseen circumstance.
However, despite continued negotiations with the debt recovery company (Brown & Joseph, LLC dba Recovery Partners), the final claim amount stands at $2638.31. Yet this expense remains a significant burden for the family.
I am reaching out to our community for support. Your generosity could make an immense difference in helping the Souwanu family overcome this financial hurdle. We have until February 29, 2024, to pay the remaining balance of $2638.31 to prevent any legal action. This includes license suspension.
Your contribution towards covering the remaining insurance claim would alleviate their current stress and prevent further financial strain.
Your kindness and support during this challenging time would mean the world to the Souwanu family. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly towards resolving this urgent matter and allowing the family to regain stability.
Please consider donating to support the Souwanu family via the GoFundMe page we've set up for them.
Your generosity will make a tangible difference in their lives.
Thank you for considering this request and for your ongoing support for the Souwanu family during this challenging period.
The attached image of the statement that came from the debt collector. The original amount that was due was $8,304.56. I negotiated with the (very helpful) insurance agent to cut that by 50%, which is an absolute miracle.
Thank you for considering a small contribution to assist Nené and her family take care of this bill!
ALL funds will go directly to pay Central Mutual Insurance. 100% Guaranteed.
