Christmas present donations for local underprivileged families.

Hi, my name is Jenna and I live local to the area. With the cost of living crisis taking its grip, last year I requested Money from relatives instead of presents and used it to purchase children’s toys/scooters and chocolates and make hampers for underprivileged children who may not receive presents due to the crisis. I contacted the local schools and was able to make around 40 hampers and donate these to the children. In 2024 we managed to make up 150 bags full of toys, Christmas Eve boxes and selection boxes. The schools gave these to the selected families that they knew were struggling financially to help with the burden of further costs for christmas.

I would like to continue to do this for 2025, but would ask for donations from the community to allow me to help more families this year.

That said, I am looking to raise £1000 to go and purchase more presents for the children in the castle point area and give to the families (through the schools) before they break up for Christmas.

We have already had some wonderful contributions and donations, but really want to make sure we can reach most families struggling this year with Christmas, not just a few.

Please think of the children on Christmas morning waking up to these presents and the pressure it will take off the parents so they can see the smiles on their faces, minus the cost in their pockets.
