My name is Hossam Masoud Abu Ishaq, 48 years old, from Khan Younis, Gaza. I have been married to my wife Asmaa for over 21 years. We built a beautiful life together and raised five wonderful children. I hold a Master’s degree in International Relations, and my wife has a Bachelor’s in Accounting. I once worked proudly as a manager in the municipality, serving my community
Today, that life no longer exists. Our home a newly built house filled with memories was completely destroyed by airstrikes. We were forced out of our neighborhood by artillery fire, and now my family is displaced, struggling to survive in a fragile tent in the Mawasi area. The tent is old and torn, offering no real protection from the heat or cold.
We have no clean water, no food, no blankets, and no clothes for my children. Each day, I watch my family suffer in ways no parent should ever witness. My children are bright and full of dreams
Hatem, my eldest son, is 21 and a gifted software engineering student.
My daughter is 17 and in her final year of high school, fighting to continue her education under impossible conditions.
I have daughters aged 16 and 13, and my youngest, just 6 years old, who deserves a childhood free from hunger and fear.
Instead, they are going to sleep hungry, thirsty, and cold. Their laughter has been replaced by worry and tears.
I myself have been injured several times, but nothing is more painful than seeing my family live like this with no safety, no dignity, and no hope without the kindness of others.
We are just one of thousands of families in Gaza enduring this humanitarian catastrophe, but I humbly ask for your support to help us survive. Any contribution will go directly towards food, clean water, warm clothing, and a safe place for my children to sleep.
Please, if you can, stand with my family in this dark time. Your help can keep my children alive and give them a chance at a future.
