Sebastian or “Seba” to those who love him is one of the most gentle, kind-hearted people you could ever meet. He’s the sort of person who quietly shows up for others, never asking for anything in return. He is what we could describe as “a good one”.

Seba was on the brink of an exciting new chapter in his life - in Japan, cooking and snowboarding - basically living his dreams, when his world and his family’s was suddenly turned upside down.

Sebastian has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) and is now facing intensive treatment and a long, uncertain road ahead.

Those who know this family know how deeply they give to their community. They volunteer their time, energy, and resources selflessly, always looking for ways to support others. Asking for help has never come naturally to them and they never would but right now the weight they are carrying is immense.

As they navigate hospital stays, treatment schedules, time away from work, and the emotional toll that comes with supporting a loved one through serious illness, the financial pressure is significant.

This fundraiser has been created with the intention of easing that burden — to help cover the everyday costs that quickly add up, and to give this family the space and time to focus on what matters most: being together and supporting Seba through treatment.
