Cancer research uk
Hi, I’m Phoebe, and I’m taking on a Muddy Race to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Cancer has deeply affected my life. I lost my mum to pancreatic cancer when I was just 12 years old. It’s one of the deadliest cancers, with a UK five-year survival rate of less than 7% – a heartbreaking statistic that hasn't improved much in decades.
I miss my mum every day. She was my world, and watching her fight something so brutal has never left me. This race is messy, tough, and a little bit wild – just like the cancer journey can be. But I’m doing it in her honour, and for everyone who’s had to watch someone they love go through this.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund life-saving research and brings us closer to earlier detection, better treatment, and hopefully one day, a cure.
Please support me if you can – and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
