Hi, my name is Staci-Jo and I am raising money for my community in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.

St. Elizabeth was hit HARD by Hurricane Melissa and families are currently without shelter, food, and basic necessities. As a Jamaican who has immigrated to the U.S., it breaks my heart to see my family and those in the communities nearby watch their homes and livelihoods wash away because of this terrible disaster.

Usually, more rural communities in the countryside of St. Elizabeth receive support later than larger areas/districts. This leaves families without electricity and supplies for an extended period of time.

This is the only way I know how to help right now. Please help me help my parish of St. Elizabeth. Funds will be used to help the community by buying non-perishable foods and other necessities (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, candles, flashlights, batteries, tarps, etc.) to be delivered as soon as roads are accessible to the communities. Monetary donations will also be made to families in the community to help them to rebuild and restore what was lost. Every little bit counts.
