Our family has experienced a devastating loss. On the evening of December 30th, Kimm Klitzke was struck by a drunk driver while trying to get into his vehicle. Kimm was life flighted to Temple, Texas, where he underwent emergency surgery and it was determined that he had a life threatening brain injury, along with broken bones and abrasions. Kimm was removed from life support on January 4th and passed at 8:31p.m., surrounded by his family. This was an unexpected event. Kimm and his wife Teri, moved to Marlin, Texas with the dream of retiring and building their farm. Kimm and Teri were fixing up their home and some projects were left unfinished, that now need to be contracted out. There are medical and end of life expenses that need to be covered. With this tragedy, we would like to lessen the financial burden due to loss of income for Teri. Also, with the possibility of a criminal trial, Kimm’s family will need to figure out travel and lodging expenses. We understand this is an economically difficult time for everyone and we appreciate any and all help.
