Journey’s journey

We have hit some really hard times and so many people have reached out asking how they can help and it’s meant A LOT!! If you know me then you know I’m not big on asking for or receiving help‍♀️.… If you know me then you also know there is nothing I wouldn’t do for my baby girl’s sake. I NEED help … WE need help.

As many of you know Journey received a rare diagnosis of LCH in October where she underwent a craniotomy. As much as we prayed and hoped it was the mono type of LCH in February they discovered 3 new lesions on her skull and Journey became the 1 in 10. No longer operable she had a port installed and began chemo the week of her 2nd birthday. Baby girl is a little beast and there is no doubt she will get through this. In the meantime I have no income as my PTO ran out a couple weeks ago. You are never prepared for something like this and you never know how you will get through until you’re doing it. We will get through because it takes a village and I am not going to get in my own way … my baby needs me at my best. I can’t do this on my own.

Unfortunately Journey’s immune system is compromised so her contact has to be very limited (no daycare) so we don’t leave the house unless necessary. I could use store runs now and then or a meal here and there. Mostly I’m just concerned with keeping the roof over our heads and the car on the road so we can make treatment trips to St. Pete and beat this ❣️❣️❤️
