I am Amjad from Gaza, and I have a wife and a young daughter. Every day, we live under the constant threat of death. Our life has become a hell we don’t know when it will end, and every passing moment intensifies our fear for our lives.

Before the war, I worked in a sewing factory, and our life was stable, peaceful, and without worries. I had plans for a better future, as I intended to start my own business, and my wife dreamed of continuing her studies to earn a master's degree. Our ambitions were high, and our small family was the source of my happiness. My daughter, whom I gave birth to after years of pain and despair, was my priceless joy. I watched her grow before my eyes, cherishing every moment.

But after a year, everything in our lives changed. Our home was destroyed above our heads, and we miraculously survived. We lost everything—no home, no money, not even clothes to cover ourselves. The suffering didn’t stop there; my wife went through severe psychological trauma after witnessing the destruction, and my daughter, my only hope in life, is now suffering from malnutrition and brittle bones.

I implore you, from the depths of my heart, to help us preserve their lives. My family consists of five members: myself, my wife, my daughter, and my elderly parents who also need urgent care and treatment. We only ask for hope, for a simple life without the fear of hunger, illness, or death.

We want to bring joy back to their faces and continue the life that was abruptly halted. In this city devastated by war, we have nothing left: no home, no work, no education, and no friends. We just want safety.
