I am reaching out today to ask for your support for my beautiful friends Alicia and Nathan and their young family.

Over the past few weeks their lives have been turned upside down by a series of events no family should have to endure.

Nathan recently received the devastating news of metastatic lymph cancer.

After months of uncertainty, he underwent major surgery to remove the mass. While the surgery was successful, he still requires intensive medical treatments and can’t work for a long time. Alicia, being his primary care giver, also needs to focus her time and energy on helping him heal the best he can, whilst also looking after their three young kids.

The day Nathan was discharged from the hospital the family expected to return to the sanctuary of their rental home, Instead they walked into a catastrophe.

A water pipe had burst in the upstairs bathroom, flooding the bedrooms and causing the ceilings to collapse into all three bedrooms. The damage is incomprehensible. A huge amount of their belongings have been destroyed and the home is unliveable, forcing them to relocate.

Many of you know Alicia and Nathan as the hearts behind memory lane wedding and events. As a small local buisness they are the ones we turn to for our most joyous days.

Now I ask that we as a community come together and return the favour to them. Any contribution will help so they can begin to rebuild their lives.
