To give hope to survivors of sexual abuse.

Hi, my name is Ellen, and I have decided to fundraise money for a charity that I hold very close to my heart, Advocacy VSV. Just because we can't control what life throws at us doesn't mean we can't control how we handle it. The truth is we all need encouragement and motivation to get over that hill, everybody needs somebody to cheer them on. Advocacy Vsv did this for me. This service has provided me with unconditional support and guidance over this past year and are entirely reliant on charity based funding. Therefore, my family and friends have gotten behind me to hold a series of fundraising events, including a skydive, heading to France to walk the first stage of the Camino and many more. Advocacy VSV advocate on behalf of and support Victims of Sexual Violence through the varying stages of the Criminal justice system. Support can be provided from the early stages of when an individual may be considering reporting the crime or for someone who is already involved in a criminal case but may be feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed. Throughout the intervention, they will support individuals to assess how the crime has impacted them and offer both emotional and practical support to help them address these areas.
