Support My 70 km Camino Challenge for Head Injury Survivors and Their Families!

Hi, I'm Debbie! In 2025, I'm stepping way outside my comfort zone to take on a 70 km trek over 5 days along the beautiful Camino Costa del Sol—from February 22nd to March 1st. While I’m hoping for a little sunshine (something we don’t see much of here in Northern Ireland!), this journey is about so much more than the walk. I’m raising funds for Head Injury Support Newry, a remarkable charity that provides life-changing support to brain injury survivors, their families, and their carers.

Why I’m Walking for Head Injury Support

Head Injury Support, based in Newry, may be a small charity, but the impact they have on individuals and families is extraordinary. They offer programs that help brain injury survivors regain their independence, confidence, and connection to the community. At the same time, they’re there for family members and carers, providing resources, guidance, and a strong support network. This trek is my way of supporting their critical work and ensuring they can continue being a lifeline to so many.
