At first this was a GoFundMe to try and raise money to help pay for my dad's leg and his treatment, unfortunately he took a turn for the worst and we are now gathering funds for a proper memorial service. Any little bit can help. A year after my mom passed, my dad George found out he had colon cancer. He went in for surgery and had a lot of unforeseen complications causing him to be hospitalized for a number of weeks. While in the hospital my dad got an infection in his already partially amputated foot, and had some major vein blockage in his arm. This resulted in a below the knee amputation and the partial amputation of two of his fingers. It’s safe to say life hasn’t been easy for our family the past year and a half. So we wanted to throw a fundraiser/ benefit in George’s honor!All proceeds will go towards helping him pay for his medications, his wheelchair, and his prosthetics!This site is set up for people who can’t come to the benefit!
