These are my two sons, Key and Kai. I've been stranded away from them for about 15 months. This campaign is to reunite me with them.

I've lived in Japan with my wife and now two kids for the past 7 years. I almost always come home for a month or two during the holidays for my business. Last year, I came home as usual, but then the Covid-19 pandemic happened.  I've been stuck half way around the world for over a year now.


This year and the pandemic have destroyed my business. With almost no income and the extra steps involved in traveling home during the pandemic; I have no hope in getting there. I cannot directly enter Japan, so I would need to fly to South Korea first, quarantine for 2 weeks, then fly into Japan and quarantine for another 2 weeks... all at my own expense.

I've missed my son's 5th and 2nd birthdays and now two Christmases.  I can get over the fact that my business is finished. I don’t mind working hard and starting over. But I want to do it with my family. Not alone, stranded halfway around the world. My kids are there, my wife is there, my health insurance is there, my life is there.

Expenses Breakdown:
I have calculated approximately how much I will need for a month of hotels in two cities, all international flights, cost of food, associated fees with traveling, cost of expenses for my family for the month I'm in quarantine, and two thousand dollars for two months so we can get by while I find new work when I get home.

Cost Breakdown 

If I don't make enough money for the trip, I'll still use any money received to put towards going home. If I get any extra, I will use the money to help take care of my family while I get another source of income lined up.
