Bryce Newman Cancer Support Fund

Late Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015 Bryce Newman went to the emergency room at Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA with a severe headache. Doctors at Rady's discovered a very large tumor on his brain and he was rushed into emergency surgery just 8 hours later on Thursday morning July 23rd. Unfortunately, after a nine hour surgery, the Newman families worse fears came true and the resected tumor came back malignant as Bryce was subsequently diagnoised with Medulloblastoma - Group C cancer, which is a very aggressive and fast growing cancer.
While Bryce's concerns are just trying to get back to becoming his normal self as an honor roll student by joining his classmates at school, along with joining his teammates playing both baseball and football for his high school teams, his family's concerns are much greater.
Unfortunately for Bryce, because of the aggressive nature of this form of cancer, Bryce had a major setback and was forced to go back in for a follow up surgery on Friday, August 28th to remove tumors that had grown back on his brain. For those who are unaware Bryce has a very long and arduous road ahead of him as he undergoes both radiation and chemo therapies to cure himself of cancer. As most people can recognize medical costs and expenses, to the family, will be adding up rapidly along with the stress of caring for their only child.

PS - the pic above is a pic of Bryce literally 1 minute prior to him being wheeled chaired into the operating room for his 2nd brain surgery "which lasted 5 1/2hours" within 30 days. That is the kind of individual this child is, knowing he is about to go through the same hell as he went through just 28days earlier "that had him in ICU for a week" once again he is attacking it with a smile on his face and a dogged determination in his soul!!!
